Eighth grade students in Ms. Carli Kanter's art class at Chippewa Middle School have been busy creating artwork featuring popular logos.

They began the project by choosing a large shape, such as one inspired by American artist Keith Haring who was famous for his pop art throughout New York City.

The students then divided that shape into at least six different sections.

They then were instructed to choose popular logos to fill in those spaces.

Logos the students could choose from ranged from popular food products to fashion brands to social media icons.

They had fun choosing their favorite logos for their project.

The students first sketched their logo shapes out with a pencil before they went over them with a black marker.

The final step was using markers and colored pencils to make their drawings come alive.
