Chippewa
Chippewa Middle School recently hosted its second annual Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) Night.
During STEAM Night, families had the opportunity to explore various STEAM-related activities and resources offered throughout the school.
Some of the activities students and their families had a chance to participate in that evening included making ice cream, constructing space origami, creating kindness rocks and printmaking.
Students also had the chance to watch a 3D printer in action and even had the chance to win it.
Special guests that evening included Author Terry Iverson, the Des Plaines Historical Society, the Des Plaines Public Library and a featured presentation by Prismatic Magic, Educational Laser Science Assembly with STEM Expansion.
